Welcome to my Site!

I'm Colleen and I have yet to figure out what I want to be when I grow up, which is kind of scary when you consider that I already have an adoring freelancing husband and two snarky kids who make me laugh.

I'm a northern transplant living in NC who works from home. I fancy myself a writer, baker, coffee enthusiast, and wannabe furniture repurposer. I love books – real books – paper and ink!

My life tends to reflect the egregious lack of organization that is my mind and as a result, I'm not on the best terms with exercise or laundry right now. I’m full of intention but seriously lacking in ambition. When on an emotional upswing, I derive great pleasure from vacuuming my floors but I always find time to share some wine or coffee with a good friend.
